Some of the young people from our Third Space project were left star stuck after spending time with Royal couple, William and Kate when they visited Northern Ireland earlier this week.

The young people, who are students from St Bricin’s College, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Extern’s Roscor Youth Village in Fermanagh on Wednesday where they spent the afternoon taking part in a range of team building activities.

Pablo, was one Third Space participant who got to meet the Royal couple.

“We were told that there were special guests coming that morning but we couldn’t believe it when we found out that it was William and Kate,” he said.

“They were both really nice, really down to earth,” said Pablo.

The focus of the two-day Royal visit to Northern Ireland was on children and young people.
