Children from The Fountain Primary School helped us to mark this year’s World Book Day.

The special event is held each year to celebrate authors, illustrators and books but most importantly reading!

As reading is at the heart of everything we do here at Verbal, we were very keen to make sure to be part of the celebrations.

The Primary four and five children from The Fountain P.S. joined us for an exciting Reading Rooms session, where we heard the tale of ‘Imaginary Fred’ by Eoin Colfer and ‘The Incredible Book Eating Boy’ by Oliver Jeffers.

Everyone’s favourite book-loving dinosaur, Little Legends’ Amelia, also stopped by to join in on the fun.

The pupils then got the chance to design their own book cover or draw their favourite story-book character before returning back to school.

As an added bonus, the children also received a book as a gift, thanks to Eason, Foyleside.
