Our latest research highlights the transformative power of storytelling in improving mental health and resilience among primary school children in Northern Ireland.  Delivered across 42 schools, this programme reached 562 children with storytelling sessions designed to address emotional wellbeing, reduce conduct problems and foster connections.

Key findings include:

  • Significant improvements in mental wellbeing, especially for children in deprived areas.
  • Enhanced resilience, particularly among younger children transitioning to secondary school.
  • Positive feedback, with 85% of participants recommending the programme.
