  1. Who we help
  2. Shared Communities

Communities living at interfaces

Verbal works with Communities living at interface areas to deliver its STORY EXCHANGE programme.

These Communities are experiencing division and segregation which in turn affects many aspects of their lives including mental health and wellbeing.

This model enables communities to come together to develop a common vision and sense of belonging.

By creating this safe space communities are able to value and appreciate different backgrounds and build strong positive relationships.

We deliver this as a group setting at community level working with our critical partners - including Housing Executive NI, Radius Housing and Local authorities.

Our Aim is to ENABLE PURPOSEFUL CONVERSATIONS WITHIN COMMUNITIES TO BUILD
EMPATHY, CONNECTEDNESS AND COMMUNITY VISIONING.

Our unique delivery approach follows 5 interrelated stages:-

1. Pre project commencement community Empathy Audit
2. Implementation of a Community led Facilitated conversation & community training programme
3. Midpoint evaluation
4. Community visioning
5. Post project evaluation
