The Verbal is housed within an iconic historical building and former school set right on the famous City Walls of Derry/Londonderry. 

We are within walking distance of all city centre amenities including hotel & guest house accommodation, cafes, restaurants, and shops.

For those of you driving to see us we are right next to a pay and display car park. We have space for coach and bus drop offs and pick ups. There are even places to park your bike. 

About our space

A shared and inclusive space, we host and welcome a wide range of events at the Verbal. We have ground floor accommodation, a disabled parking bay, and lift access to first floor event spaces.

Regular clients include drama groups, business board meetings, chamber-style concerts, festivals, storytelling, training seminars and celebrations.
