Young People aged 16+

Verbal works with Children and Young People aged 16+. These are young people in their mid teens on the edge of care or at risk. These young people can find themselves marginalised and silenced by circumstances.

We have designed a 12-week Midteen Wellbeing programme. This is about their social care, and developing coping strategies for the future.

We can deliver either in a Group setting or 1:1 session

Duration: 12 sessions, each session lasting 1 hour

Aim: Direct intervention. This programme is all about resilience and capacity building to help the young people understand their feelings and emotions and learn how to manage their behaviour. This is done using positive coping mechanisms that will support their mental health and wellbeing.

Crucially Verbal's work will develop their emotional regulation skills and communication skills to support issues that these young people will encounter in their daily lives.
